Ng’ang’a Kibandi has a wealth of experience in social development through managing programmes and conducting research. He has a strong training background in Economics and Psychology for his graduate studies and Development Studies for his honors. This training has led him in different career paths within the field of project management and research at various institutions in Kenya, Somalia and South Africa.
Starting with AET in 2014, Ng’ang’a holds the positions of Programmes Coordinator and oversees the implementation of programs in Kenya. He has a wealth of experience managing various projects funded by different key donors such as the European Union, DFID, International Embassies and private foundations. He simultaneously posses prolific knowledge in research, with a specific focus on the role of evidence-based policy. This has led him to participate as a presenter in various education and policy conferences, on both local and international levels. In addition, Ng’ang’a is passionate about monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and has taken up various leading roles in designing frameworks, developing tools and overseeing evaluations exercises.
